Growing up, I’ve always loved the outdoors — the backroads, the alpine lakes, the freedom of sleeping under the stars.

But after one too many trips spent fumbling with gear and waking up sore on uneven ground, I realized it didn’t have to be this way.

I wanted something better — not just for me, but for my wife too. Something we could do together without the stress.

Something that made camping feel elevated, comfortable, and easy — even if we pulled into a trailhead late at night.

That’s when the idea for SquatchBox was born.

What started on a trip in the Yukon — with our first RTT experience — turned into a rooftop tent system designed for real adventure and real people.

Built to handle Canadian weather and rugged terrain, but simple enough to set up in 30 seconds.

It’s tough where it counts, and comfortable where it matters.

Today, we’re proud to see SquatchBox tents traveling coast to coast — on trucks, SUVs, and vans.

Used by families, solo explorers, couples (and plenty of dogs).

It’s more than a tent.

It’s a reminder that adventure doesn’t have to be complicated.
